Consumers

We provide advice information and support to city residents and workers on a range of consumer matters via our partners Consumer Direct.

We deal with complaints from consumers anywhere regarding city traders.

Businesses

We will give advice to all businesses trading in the city on their duties and obligations under trading laws. If your head office is in the city, we will if you request set up a home authority relationship with you, we will provide named officer to deal with you and will act as your link to Trading Standards Departments nationwide.

Service Standards

We are open to callers between 9am and 5pm and we aim to provide an initial response within two days. We hold the Community Legal Services Quality Mark and are part of a Consumer Support Network.
